How We Work
Cocoa Purchase
Local farmers or purchasing clerks bring dried, fermented cocoa beans to our approved buying centers or depot points.
✅ We receive only well-dried, fermented beans.
✅ Farmers are welcome to ask for pricing and weight confirmation.
Weighing & Grading
Our trained staff weigh the beans using calibrated digital or mechanical scales. Simultaneously, QCC (Quality Control Company) officers inspect for moisture, mold, and proper fermentation.
🎯 Only beans that meet COCOBOD's quality standards are accepted.
📋 A receipt or weight sheet is issued to the farmer.
Cocoa Transported to Depot
The beans are bagged (usually in conventional or sustainable jute sacks) and sealed with official LBC and QCC tags. Cocoa is then transported to our district or regional depot. Every bag is recorded and tracked using depot registers or a digital system.
